My name is Ann Foster and I am a photojournalist currently working in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I am a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura, CA and for the past four years I have traveled around the country working for a total of 14 newspapers. I specialize in documentary and editorial photojournalism and am available for assignment anywhere in the Northeast.

some me shots

Howdy all. Not too much going on on the home front. A few weeks ago I found out that I won second place for the Colorado Press Association's annual competition for a photo/story package for my cancer story. Good times had by all. Below are a few shots I took recently, and not necessarily for work. One is of a guy peeking into a kitchen looking for a beer, the other two were taken after the North County Christian School's thrift store burnt down a few days ago. They're guessing faulty wiring. Will post more when I get it.

For the past five years I have worked for 12 weekly papers as the sole photographer in California and Colorado as well as at an award-winning 90,000 daily circulation newspaper in Central Pennsylvania. I have experience in working with Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, Final Cut, as well as with studio and on-sight lighting.
