San Francisco Pride 2009

Had a great time at San Francisco Pride this year. About 100,000 people lined the streets in the biggest congregation of gay people I've ever seen in my life. Loved every minute of it. There was almost too much to shoot. Cheers.

My name is Ann Foster and I am a photojournalist currently working for the Harrisburg Patriot-News in Harrisburg, PA. For the past five years I have worked for 12 weekly papers as the sole photographer in California and Colorado as well as at an award-winning 90,000 daily circulation newspaper in Central Pennsylvania. I have experience in working with Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, Final Cut, as well as with studio and on-sight lighting. In the past I have worked as a reporter, page designer, paginator and copy editor in addition to my photographic duties so I have a very in-depth understanding of how the newsroom works together.
